Well I’ve finally finished the granny square baby blanket I’ve been making. I suppose it’s quite traditional-looking. Doing the squares took me much longer than I expected due to the repetitive nature of the task. (I’m not good with repetition, much prefer making things up on the spot which is the reason I took up crochet in the first place!). And weaving in all the ends for each square almost cost me the will to live. But I got there in the end. I hope she likes it. The mother, I mean – not the baby!

I used several shades of Debbie Bliss Baby Cashmerino, which I loved using. The baby is now about two months old and we’re in the middle of a heatwave! Oh well…
