Haven’t blogged in a while – going through a redundancy at work and starting another job can take its toll on you. Also after the Granny blanket I was all crocheted out but I’ve started again and decided to go all matchy-matchy and make a pair of fingerless gloves to go with a blue shell-stitch scarf I made last winter. So here they are:

They’re not perfect (I would have made them longer but was afraid I didn’t have enough yarn), but I’m quite proud of them as I completely improvised the design. I might even write out my first pattern!

(I made this last winter, it’s very thick, warm and lush and probably my most favourite thing I’ve ever made!)
